🌟 A Productive Decluttering Session 🌟Jules had a fantastic first session with one of her clients, focusing on her daughter’s bedroom. With the delightful help of her daughter, they tackled the room step by step, and her enthusiasm was truly inspiring!After capturing a before photo, they got straight to work, starting with the floor. Her daughter took the lead in deciding where everything should go, making the process both smooth and engaging.Here’s what they achieved together:✨ Organised toys—horses, Barbies, and dolls now have a cosy home in a basket.✨ Sorted craft supplies into drawers—paper, stickers, activity books, textas, and notebooks each found their place.✨ Decluttered and arranged headbands, hair clips, and hair ties, letting go of a few items along the way.✨ Sorted through a tub of odds and ends behind the door.Jules’ client was thrilled with the wardrobe organisation, and the session flowed so smoothly thanks to her daughter’s focus and decision-making. Decluttering Your Medicine Cabinet: A Quick and Healthy ResetWhen was the last time you decluttered your medicine cabinet? If you're anything like Jules (and her friend Jac!), it might have been a while. Jac recently reminded Jules how important this task is, and her suggestions were too good not to share. Thanks, Jac! Jac pointed out something Jules hadn’t realised: every sheet of medication in foil has an expiry date on it. That’s right—just like food, medications have a “use by” date, and it’s essential to respect it. We wouldn’t eat food past its expiry date, so why take the risk with medicine? Here are a few tips from Jules to get started on your medicine cabinet refresh: 1. **Check the Dates**: Go through every item, from tablets to creams. Toss anything that’s expired. This includes over-the-counter items, too! 2. **Dispose of Safely**: Don’t throw medicine in the bin or flush it. Take it to your local pharmacy—they’ll safely dispose of it for you. 3. **Streamline Your Storage**: Use clear containers or labelled boxes to separate categories like pain relief, cold/flu meds, and first aid supplies. 4. **Stock Up Smartly**: Only replace what you actually use. There’s no need to have a pharmacy’s worth of meds at home. 5. **Remember Accessibility**: If you have kids, keep medicines stored safely out of their reach. A medicine cabinet clear-out is quick but impactful—less clutter, fewer risks, and a cabinet that works for you when you need it most.
